Two months before the opening ceremony of the Pan American Games, the Organization Committee reaches a milestone by selling the tickets (on Monday, May 27) to the most important multi-sport event in the Americas which will gather the best athletes from the continent.
The ticket sale for the Pan American Games starts officially tomorrow, Monday May 27, and for the Parapan American Games on June 24.
The tickets can be purchased at the 10 Lima 2019 authorized stands in the city (see attachment). They can also be purchased online through the www.lima2019.pe official website from 9:00 on Monday, May 27.
The Lima 2019 Organizing Committee picked Teleticket and Ticketmaster, two world-leading partners in the field, to guarantee high standards for the ticket sale and access control to the most important multi-sport event in Peru. The consortium of these two companies will guarantee a world-class service and will generate an added value for the Games.
In the case of the digital tickets (e-tickets), there won’t be any need to print them, since the spectator will be able to enter the venue by showing the e-ticket on their cellphone. Tickets will also be available for purchase at the competition venues the same date of that particular competition.
Milco, the mascot of the Games, also appears on the tickets. The President of Peru, Martin Vizcarra and his son, Martino, were the first people to get the tickets for the Pan American Games. The mayor of Lima, Jorge Muñoz, also got tickets which will be sold tomorrow for the public.
DEALS
The price policy aims at including everybody since tickets will be sold for 20 soles for the Pan American Games official competitions and from 30 soles in the case of the final competitions.
The tickets for the Parapan American Games will go from 10 soles. For both Games, there will be 50% for people under 18 years old, senior citizens and people with impairments.
The public will be able to attend the spectacular Lima 2019 Opening and Closing ceremonies at the National Stadium with tickets from 20 soles.
ABOUT LIMA 2019
The opening ceremony of the Lima 2019 Pan American Games will be held at the National Stadium on July 26, 2019. This continental event will gather 6680 athletes from 41 countries and delegations from the Americas. Two days before, on July 24, the sports calendar starts with handball.
There will be 19 days of competitions and ceremonies between July 24 and August 11, 2019, which will take place in 14 districts of Lima and Callao at different venues such as the VIDENA, Villa María Sports Center, Callao Regional Village, Villa El Salvador Sports Center, Punta Rocas, among others.
The Lima 2019 Pan American Games will include 39 sports and 61 disciplines, in which athletes will compete for gold, silver and bronze medals. A total of 22 disciplines are qualifiers for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
The Parapan American Games will gather 1890 Para athletes from 33 countries, participating in 17 sports and 18 disciplines. Competitions will take place from August 23 to September 1, 2019. A total of 13 Para sports are qualifiers for Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games.
