The mandatory sanitary and zoosanitary requirements for the temporary entry of competition horses from the Netherlands and the United States, for the Pan American Games, were approved by the National Service of Agrarian Health (SENASA), through Board Resolution No. 0011- 2019-MINAGRI-SENASA-DSA-SDCA-MQUEVEDOM.
Furthermore, the issuance of Sanitary Import Permits (PSI) for livestock merchandise was approved by law, and SENASA may adopt complementary sanitary measures, through the Directorate of Animal Health, in order to ensure compliance.
In the case of the Netherlands, the animals must have an Export Sanitary Certificate, issued by the official animal health authority.
In the case of the United States, the animals must have an Export Sanitary Certificate, issued by a veterinarian accredited by the Department of Agriculture of this country and supported by a veterinarian of the Veterinary Services.
The Board Resolution was published in the official newspaper “El Peruano” and on the institutional website of the National Agrarian Health Service (www.senasa.gob.pe).

This venue was remodeled for Lima 2019 and will house the disciplines of jumping, eventing and dressage. The closed park opening is scheduled for July 19 and the training, for July 27.
