ANTI DOPING TESTS TO PERUVIAN ATHLETES BY CONAD BEFORE THE LIMA 2019 GAMES

Carlos Zegarra stated that, since this is the most important sports event of the continent, and there is no intention of having Peruvian athletes under a doping situation during the Games, tests prior to the beginning of the event will be taken.

“This year, we will concentrate on avoiding any case of doping in the Peruvian team that will participate in Lima 2019. Therefore, we will perform previous tests”, said Zegarra. As judoka, he won the bronze medals in Rio 2007 and the championships of Buenos Aires 2009 and Montreal 2012.
