IMPRESSED BY THE PROGRESS
Leyla Chihuán, first vice president of the Peruvian Congress continued the visit along Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos (UNMSM) Stadium. “After visiting these venues, we can confirm a huge progress. The delivery of works is only one month away and I have seen a very different picture from what we saw a year ago. If we go back to February 2018, we were wondering where some disciplines were going to be carried out at that time . Today, the venues visited are almost ready. Implementation is still pending due,” the member of the parliament added .
“We have took the opportunity for the members of the federations to visit the venue and ask questions. They are pleased with what they have seen”, Chihuán added.
Visits will continue tomorrow with another group of federation representatives in Villa María del Triunfo Sports Center, which will host softball, baseball, basque pelota, hockey and rugby in addition to archery, football 5-a-side and football 7-a-side during the Parapan American Games.
