In an unprecedented event, Peru will host the largest multi-sport event in the continent, the Lima 2019 Pan American and Parapan American Games. With only 135 days left before the opening ceremony, a recognized national brand was presented this morning as Lima 2019 Games Official Sponsor.
This morning a commercial agreement was signed. Gloria, leader in dairy products at a national level and with presence abroad, will be the “Lima 2019 Pan American and Parapan American Games Official Sponsor”, in the Gold category.
This agreement was signed by the Lima 2019 President Carlos Neuhaus Tudela and Gloria’s Executive Director Claudio Rodríguez, in the presence of Gloria’s Commercial Director Jorge Namisato and the Lima 2019 Communication, Commercial and Marketing Manager Juan Antonio Silva.
“We make this effort for the athletes because we’re all one team. Gloria is the first national company that contributes to the organization of this multi-sport event in the Americas. We’re working so hard and we just delivered sports venues such as the baseball field,” said Carlos Neuhaus during the ceremony.
“Tomorrow (Wednesday) we’ll deliver the stadium of the National University of San Marcos to the U17 football team. Also, on Saturday, we’ll make carry out a test event in the Pan American and Parapan American Village,” he added.
Juan Antonio Silva, Lima 2019 Communications, Commercial and Marketing manager, said that, thanks to this agreement, Gloria will be the “Pan American Games Official Milk” and will have exclusivity in the category of dairy products, milks, drinks with 54% of milk and milk-based granulated food during the Pan American and Parapan American Games.
Moreover, the Lima 2019 brand will be added to the labels of the Evaporated Gloria Milk blue and red cans (170 g and 400 g sizes), from March to August. This will make possible to reach more than 7.5 million of Peruvian families.
As part of this agreement, dairy products will be sold with labels representing the Lima 2019 Games. Additionally, athletes coming from all the Americas and participating in the Lima 2019 Games will receive Gloria dairy products as part of their nutrition during the Pan American and Parapan American Games.
Gloria will also have the rights to produce, make and broadcast the testimonial videos of the Peruvian athletes participating in the Lima 2019 Pan American and Parapan American Games.
Among the attendees were top fronton athletes such as Kevin Martínez, 2017-2018 Pan American champion; Mía Rodriguez, 2018 Pan American champion; and Nathali Paredes, 2018 Pan American champion and Odesur bronze medalist in Basque pelota.
In this opportunity, Gloria presented a new product: PRO is a protein milkshake for people who practice sports and seek to recover and develop muscles through milk proteins.
