The Ica region and the historic Bahía de Paracas will join the celebrations of the largest multi-sports event to take place for the first time in Peru. The Paracas sea will welcome the best athletes of the continent who will arrive to compete in the sailing disciplines.

A volunteer training workshop will be held this weekend for all people living in Paracas and Ica region who registered to participate as volunteers for the Pan American and Parapan American Games.

This program was presented today Friday in the capital of the Ica region, so that more citizens participate in the Volunteer Program and be part of the organization of Lima 2019 Pan American and Parapan American Games. “We want all citizens of the Ica region to join the Volunteer Program and enjoy this multi-sports event. There is no age limit and people over 16 years old can register. They will receive many benefits. More than 600 people have registered in Ica and there is still time to do it until February 22,” Arteaga stated.
