For the celebrations of the “100 days until the Lima 2019 Parapan American Games”, the President of the Republic, Martín Vizcarra, and the Cabinet of Ministers, led by Premier Salvador del Solar, joined the countdown to the largest multi-sports event in the continent, to be held for the first time in Peru.
At a session, the Head of State and the Cabinet of Ministers put on the Lima 2019 Games shirt just 100 days until the Opening Ceremony of the Parapan American Games, scheduled for August 23 at the National Stadium.
“We’re only #100days from the Parapan American Games. So, we welcomed Milco at the Government Palace to celebrate the home stretch to the #Lima2019 Pan American Games with him. #LetsAllPlay,” tweeted the President of the Republic of Peru.
As pointed out on the tweet, Milco arrived at the Government Palace to greet President Martín Vizcarra and all ministers and share his excitement for this international event with them.
ABOUT THE PARAPAN AMERICAN GAMES
The Parapan American Games will gather 1890 Para athletes from 33 countries, participating in 17 sports and 18 disciplines. The competitions will take place between August 23 and September 1, 2019. Thirteen Para sports will be qualifiers for the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games.
