The Peruvian team did not win medals on the second day of the Judo Panamerican Championships Seniors; however, the event leaves a pleasant impression in terms of the organization. For the athletes and coaches from 29 countries of the Americas, the Lima 2019 firsttest event is a success.
The best judokas in the region are fighting at the Sports Center 1 at the VIDENA, so they are used to a very high level of organization, such as the Olympic Games and Europe or Asia World Cups. Therefore, the approval of highly notable judokas is remarkable.

In turn, the current Pan American championship, Ecuadorian Lenin Preciado was amazed. "The organization of this tournament has been excellent. Im very sure that you'll do very well for the Pan American Games. It motivates me to fight again in this great stage to get another gold in Lima", he said.
Brazilian Daniel Cargnin and Larissa Pimenta, gold medalists in this tournament, agreed that Lima is ready for the Pan American Games. "We loved the attention, from the food to the services before fighting in the tatami. Everything is becoming very attractive to receive the athletes competing again for the Games," they said.
