CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS AT GOOD PACE
Following the 150 days milestone, the Games Organization held meetings to analyze the progress and verify that everything is going at a good pace. It was informed that the new scenarios will be ready for athletes in two weeks, and as stated by the Organizing Committee President, Carlos Neuhaus, they will become part of the great Lima 2019 legacy for Peruvian sport and society.
The first facility to be officially opened will be the softball field, located at the Sports Center Andrés Avelino Cáceres in Villa María del Triunfo.
Works in the stadium of the National University of San Marcos (UNMSM) are in the final stage and will be delivered to the Peruvian Football Federation, so that it can be used as the venue for the South American U-17 Championship, which begins on March 21, and will be a qualifying event for the World Cup.
