This document also establishes the restoration of the Satellite Village, located at the Naval Academy, in La Punta, as well as the improvement and expansion of the Capitán FAP José Abelardo Quiñones Gonzáles Shooting Range in Las Palmas, Surco, which will be the shooting and shooting Para sport venue at the Parapan American Games.
In addition, construction will start on the fields of play in Parque Costa Verde in San Miguel, which will be the venue for beach volleyball, skateboarding, BMX, speed skating, road cycling, among others, during the Lima 2019 Games.
The Chorrillos Military School (modern pentathlon venue) will also be refurbished. This includes the Mariscal Cáceres Coliseum, where the weightlifting and bodybuilding competitions will take place; the latter competition will take place for first time in this type of international tournament.
It is important to mention that the five largest infrastructure projects (Pan American and Parapan American Village, Villa María del Triunfo, VIDENA, Callao Sports Center and Villa El Salvador Sports Center) for the Lima 2019 Games are in their final stage and will be 95% complete as of March.
