In 2019, Lima will gather all America’s cultures during the biggest sporting event in the continent, which will take place in our country. Therefore, tomorrow the Lima 2019 organization will launch a campaign about the importance of the Pan American and Parapan American Games. It will encourage everyone to join the event that will put Peru under the spotlight: “Let’s all play”.
The slogan of this campaign will be: “Let’s all play”; it means that everyone should participate in this sports celebration. All cultures of the Americas will play in Peru, including athletes and participating countries. Volunteers will also participate; they are the heart of Lima 2019. Also, parents will participate taking their children to watch competitions, as well as ordinary people warmly welcoming 40 delegations arriving to Lima. We will all be rooting for Peru. We need that all Peruvians get involved in the Games, from purchasing a ticket, helping visitants, respecting the rules and becoming the best hosts: All Peruvians play, the Americas play.

Meeting of cultures
The main idea of this campaign is developed through the representations of the cultures of the Americas, united to compete, celebrate the greatness and identity of our continent, and show the whole world that in Lima 2019 we invite everybody: “Let’s all play”. This seeks to promote the full identification of all people with Lima 2019 Games.
3D Animation
It should be noted that the campaign will have one-resource identity: 3D animation. Said resource will allow to show the message massively and cinematographically in line with this sporting mega-event.
It will also enable an imaginary journey from the past to the present, bringing the concept of cultures united to the present.
In this regard, we will be motivated proud to be the Games host country. This campaign will awaken our interest to obtain more information about the most important multi-sports event of the Americas. It will also motivate the affinity with Lima 2019 and Milco, the official mascot of Lima 2019.
About the Pan American and Parapan American Games
The Lima 2019 Pan American and Parapan American Games will welcome 41 National Olympic Committees, making up Panam Sports (previously known as Pan American Sports Organization - Panam Sports) and will gather 6680 athletes participating in 39 sports and 62 disciplines from July 26 to August 11.
Additionally, the Parapan American Games will gather 1890 athletes participating in 17 sports and 18 disciplines from August 23 and September 1.
Lima 2019 will be a qualifying event for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games, which guarantees the presence of the top athletes in these sport disciplines.
The Pan American Games are the biggest international sporting multidisciplinary event in which athletes of the Americas participate.
From 2007, the same city organizing the Pan American Games is the one that also organizes the Parapan American Games, in which athletes with some kind of impairment participate. The Parapan American Games take place immediately after the Pan American Games.
