We are only 60 days away from the opening ceremony of the Lima 2019 Games, scheduled for July 26 at the National Stadium. Peru will have the privilege of experiencing the most important multi-sport event of the continent.
The Lima 2019 Organizing Committee launches the campaign "When a Peruvian plays, let’s all play", that aims to spread the pride of playing at home and encourage all Peruvians to buy their tickets for the Lima 2019 Pan American and Parapan American Games ceremonies and sports competitions. Tickets will be priced from 10 soles.
At the same time, information will be released about the spectacular infrastructure of sports venues, delivered before deadlines to receive the best athletes of the continent.
This campaign also aims to awaken people's pride for being host of the Games, the third biggest sports event in the world after the Olympic Games and the football World Cup. We want to remind everyone that we play as if we were at home during the football world cup held in Russia. Peru was awarded as the 'Best Fans' and now we must confirm that in the Lima 2019 Pan American and Parapan American Games.
In this first campaign, the protagonist is the Peruvian athlete Maitté Torres, 400 m champion and national record, who is a worthy representative. She will be the spokesperson for the campaign "When a Peruvian plays, let’s all play".
The objective is to reach a massive attendance at the Lima 2019 Games, to support the Peruvian athletes who are giving their best to win the gold.
