As it was announced yesterday, at the Pan American Torch Lighting Ceremony celebrated in Teotihuacan, the Pan American Flame arrived today in Cuzco and so the two ancient American cultures united through a path of fire drawn in the skies: inside a lamp case, the Flame traveled by plane from Mexico, arriving to the other American historic Capital.
As proof of this union, the aircraft that landed at Teniente Alejandro Velasco Astete international Airport in Cuzco city, bore a painting by artist Joan Jiménez Suero –better known as Entes– that read: “Let's go Latin America”
