"In very few countries in Latin America I have seen this construction high quality and this level of infrastructure," he said. He affirmed that with the progress of the projects the vision of what the Pan American Games will really mean for the Peruvian people is being completed.
After the Pan American and Parapan American Games, Lima 2019, the Peruvian capital will become the training center for athletes from all over the Americas, said Panam Sports president Neven Ilic during a visit he made today to the works that are being executed in the National Sports Village (VIDENA), along with directors of TV Record, owner of television rights to the most important multi-sport event in the continent.
"This is part of the legacy that the Pan American Games will leave to the country. Lima will also be the center of sports development for all Peruvians and also for the rest of the countries of the Americas that we intend to use", he said.
Worldwide Projects
The maximum authority of Panam Sports and the CEO of TV Record, Vinicius Da Silva, could appreciate the progress in the works that are developed at VIDENA, which will be constituted in the most important center of competitions of the Lima 2019 Games.

"It's impressive," he emphasized, remembering that in December of last year there was nothing built so much at VIDENA, neither at the Athletes' Village.
"Every time I come I am more impressed; The quality of the construction is great, the designs are extraordinary and I think the legacy that the Pan American Games will leave to Peru is going to be worldwide", he said.
It should be noted that Videna project will be ready, in most of its facilities, in March 2019. We talk about construction of the Athletic Stadium, the Aquatic Center and the new Sports Center 3, which will have modern retractable grandstands, with a capacity for a thousand spectators.
Also, VIDENA is enlarging and roofing the velodrome and has completed the roof of the bowling with 24 tracks that are close to being placed. Similarly. the ventilation ducts are being placed.

Social Legacy
Vinicius Da Silva considered that Lima 2019 will be a social achievement of Peru. "I think the population and Lima are going to have the happiness of enjoying these projects. We hope that governments focus positively on the Pan American Games, we hope that people and especially children can enjoy the show next year, "he said.
