Lima and Peru are preparing for the largest multisport experience ever held in the country. Starting on July 26, Lima will house the Pan American and Parapan American Games, the most important event in the Americas.
Nobody wants to miss out this celebration, and 175 thousand tourists are expected to arrive at Lima from all over the world to live this wonderful sporting experience. In Peru, expectations are high as reflected in the over 100 thousand tickets that have been sold to date for the ceremonies and sport competitions of the Pan American Games.
The tickets for the Opening Ceremony and the competition finals were the first ones to be sold out; however, there are several tickets for the qualifying rounds of the different sports and disciplines that will be features at Lima 2019.
The price of tickets for the preliminary rounds start at PEN 20. There will be a 50% discount for children under 18, senior citizens and people with an impairment.

As for e-tickets, printing will no longer be necessary since spectators can show their e-tickets on their mobile phones at the entrance of the sports venue.
ABOUT THE PARAPAN AMERICAN GAMES TICKETS
Tickets for the Parapan American Games will start at PEN 10.00. In both cases, there will be a 50% discount for children under 18, senior citizens and people with impairments. Ticket sales for the Parapan American Games will open on June 24.
ABOUT LIMA 2019
The Lima 2019 Pan American Games is a continental event that will gather 6680 athletes from 41 countries and will open on July 26 at the National Stadium. There will be 17 days of competitions, which will take place in 14 districts of Lima and Callao. Some of the main venues will be VIDENA, Villa María del Triunfo Sports Center, Callao Regional Sports Village, Villa El Salvador Sports Center, Punta Rocas, among others.
The Lima 2019 Pan American Games will include 39 sports and 61 disciplines, in which athletes will compete for gold, silver and bronze medals. A total of 22 disciplines are qualifiers for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
The Parapan American Games will welcome 1890 Para athletes from 33 countries, who will participate in 17 Para sports and 18 disciplines. Competitions will take place from August 23 to September 1, 2019. Additionally, 13 Para sports will be qualifiers for the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games.
