Last Sunday, Milco, the Official Mascot of the Lima 2019 Pan American and Parapan American Games took part on the religious parade organized by Cristo Resucitado church in Villa El Salvador to celebrate Virgen de la Candelaria festivity. This religious celebration brought together hundreds of believers, who gathered since very early in the morning to attend the traditional mass.
Milco accompanied the dancers of Peruvian typical music who showed their talent along the neighboring streets and shared some time with passers-by who joined the celebration.
Joy, color and the spirit of participants and believers were evident along the route to the main square of the district, where the festivity continued with the attending dance groups, orchestras and authorities.
As part of the networking strategy to get to know people living in the district that houses the Pan American Village, accommodation venue for the athletes during the Lima 2019 Pan American and Parapan American Games, Milco handed over brochures with important information about the most important multi-sports event of the continent so that more people can join this great event.
