PAN AMERICAN TORCH RELAY CONTINUES TODAY: TORCH ARRIVES IN TINGO MARÍA

The most important sports event Peru has ever held is just a few days away, and the Pan American Torch Relay is still traveling across several cities.

This time it will be in Tingo María, where eight participants will carry the torch. Among the participants are Daniel Hidalgo Guevara, former football player in Sport Loreto, and Olenka Cáceres Leca, volleyball player and city councilor of Tingo María.

The route of almost two kilometers long will begin at the Plaza de Armas and finish at the Bella Durmiente viewpoint, a must-see natural tourist attraction.
