The Peruvian National Police and the Lima 2019 Pan American and Parapan American Games Organizing Committee want to ensure that the Games competitions and ceremonies are carried out according to schedule with the least possible inconvenience for the general public.
For this reason, the Transit, Transport and Road Safety Department of the Peruvian National Police will carry out the “Second LIMA 2019 Lane Test” on Friday, June 14 on the roads where official vehicles will transport over 1000 athletes as well as judges, referees, accredited press, volunteers and the Games official delegations, while traveling in Callao.
At 04:00, traffic will be segregated and restricted on the left lane in both traffic directions, starting at the satellite village at the Peruvian Naval Academy in Callao, accommodation venue for around 1000 athletes and technical officials from 41 countries, and ending at the Callao Regional Sports Village, location of the new Callao Sports Center and the renovated Miguel Grau Coliseum. These premises will host volleyball, taekwondo, boxing, wrestling and racquetball competitions during the Pan American Games, as well as sitting volleyball, Para taekwondo and goalball events during the Parapan American Games.
