VOLUNTEER PROGRAM TRAINING ENTERS ITS FINAL STAGE FOR LIMA 2019

With a little over five months to go until the biggest multi-sport event in the Americas in our country, Lima 2019 Volunteer Program expects to gather more than 4000 people this week for the Training Process for the Lima 2019 Pan American and Parapan American Games.

This training process aims to provide participants with the necessary tools in terms of knowledge and competencies to carry out their role successfully in the Games, as well as help to create a social legacy. This program will be carried together with the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS).

It should be noted that the training experience is one of the most important benefits of the Lima 2019 Volunteer Program and reach about 40,000 applicants for volunteers; it consists of 20 class hours between in-person and virtual training. This process started with the general in-person training for applicants for the position of volunteers in Peru.
