Nolberto Solano, coach of the Peruvian football team, defined the list of 18 players that will participate in the Lima 2019 Pan American Games. The presence of Carlos Cáceda, goalkeeper of the Peruvian team during the World Cup and currently playing the Copa America, stands out. Among the players called for Lima 2019, midfielder, Jesús Pretell, also stands out, as he is currently part of Ricardo Gareca’s team in Brazil.
The list is strengthen by the experienced Mauricio Montes and San Martin’s midfielder, Yamir Oliva, that will be the reinforcements over 22, together with Cáceda, of Solano’s team.
The Universidad San Martín club is providing four players, while Universitario, Sporting Cristal, Melgar and Alianza Lima, are bringing two players each.
The Peruvian national team will be part of group B in the Pan American game. Honduras, Honduras, Uruguay and Jamaica complete the group.
