Callao Sports Center will be officially opened this weekend and all people from Callao will be able to enjoy the best junior volleyball competition at the Women’s U-20 Volleyball International Quadrangular that will host the best teams from Peru, Argentina, Chile and Colombia. You can go cheer for our volleyball players in this tournament, before the biggest sports celebration of the Americas begins: The Pan American and Parapan American Games in July.

The house of volleyball for the Lima 2019 Games, Callao Sports Center, is one of the amazing venues built for the most important sports event held in Peru. From Friday, the U-20 Peruvian team, coached by Carlos Rivero, will try to conquer the podium.

Fort he experienced coach, the tournament will be played at one nicest coliseums of South America and that is something to be proud of, but it is also a great responsibility. “It is an honor to coach a national team. I don’t think there is another stadium like this one in our region”.

Argentina, Chile and Colombia will face the Peruvian team and will have the joy of opening this great sports stage that will be a legacy for Callao and Peruvian volleyball after Lima 2019.

This quadrangular tournament will be a training event for our athletes, our fans and for the organization to show the best sports management now and during the Games. Over six thousand people will be able to enter the Sports Center that will host taekwondo and sitting volleyball during the Parapan American Games.

If cannot make to the Sports Center, but you do not want to miss any second of the quadrangular tournament, enjoy all the matches from home with your friends through Latina TV (our open signal media partner) that will broadcast matches featuring Peru: against Chile on Friday at 19:00, Colombia on Saturday also at 19:00 and on Sunday, to end the tournament, against Argentina at 17:00.
