OVERVIEW

It is played in indoor courts, between two players, thinner rackets than the ones used in tennis, a rubber ball which speed or bouncing features vary according to its material. The ball can bounce on any wall, provided that it also hits the front wall of the court.

HISTORY

The sport was invented in 1830 by the prestigious Harrow School in England. Squash became the students’ favorite sport. The sport became officially established when the first four squash courts were built at the school in 1864.
