Waterpolo, which will be present at Lima 2019,is an aquatic sport where two teams compete in four eight-minute periods without touching the bottom or the walls of the pool.

HISTORY

Water polo emerged at the end of the nineteenth century in England and Scotland, even though, at first, it was called aquatic handball.
