OVERVIEW
Coming from South Korea, Taekwondo is a martial art created in 1955. In the Poomsae mode, the athlete seems to have an imaginary fight with several adversaries. The Kyorugi modality, on the other hand, is a combat where 80% of kicking techniques and 20% of fist techniques are used.
HISTORY
Taekwondo, a martial art created in South Korea, means "the path of feet and hands" although it was originally called "taekkyon" (foot-hand), a style that dates back to the era of the Three Kingdoms of Korea, around 50 AC.
